What is Interfaith Ministry?
Information coming soon…
Interfaith Ministry
We create Interfaith Ceremonies for specific religious festivals and United Nations Observances in collaboration with religious and spiritual communities. We have offered An Interfaith Ceremony for Peace and Understanding together with Fo Guang Shan International and Buddha’s Light Association of Victoria to many thousands of people in Federation Square for Buddha’s Day and Multicultural Festival, celebrating our tenth anniversary in 2017. Ceremonies to celebrate Vesak, Vaisakhi (Sikh) Festival and the International Day of Peace have brought thousands of people of diverse faiths and no faith together for mutual understanding and celebration.
In February 2017, together with Interfaith Ministers based in Melbourne and associates, we offered monthly Interfaith Spiritually Inclusive Services held at Toorak Uniting Church, for a growing number of people who are “spiritual but not religious” and for those from diverse faiths who wish to widen and deepen their understanding of other traditions.
Spiritual Direction and Counselling can be arranged through the Interfaith Centre.
