This exclusive study tour was for a small group of people from diverse religious and spiritual traditions
Coordinated by Helen Summers, who has written and produced two events on the Golden Age of Spain pre-1492 The group was joined by experts in Islamic, Jewish and Christian philosophy, art, architecture, music, poetry and mysticism We began in Madrid, travelled to Andalucia, staying in Cordoba, Seville, Granada, and then north to Toledo and Avila, visiting several cities and towns along the way before completing our journey in Madrid We were honoured to have Dr Minwer Al-Meheid, Director of The Royal Aal-Bayt Institute for Islamic Thought, Amman Jordan, accompany us in Granada to the Alhambra and other major sites of Islamic art and culture, and to share with us his expert knowledge of Islamic art and Sacred Geometry.
